Ushirika Community (St. Paul of the Cross Retreat House)
Geographical Location:
St. Paul of the Cross Retreat House is in Nairobi, Kenya Masai West Road in Langata near Hardy Estate. About 20 kilometers from Nairobi Central Business District.
Our house can accommodate up to a bed capacity of 28 for organized groups who wish to share rooms. For the retreatants the room capacity is 16. There are resident Religious priests and Brothers who guide the retreatants in both group preached retreats and individually directed retreats. One day meetings and recollections days can take up to 50 participants in the spacious halls and the two chapels.
The spacious garden at our backyard offers natural environment of shrubs, grass and trees with birds singing in their wild homes.
Direction from Nairobi City Centre:
There are public service vehicles plying this route from Ambassador Hotel [Citihopper] through Bomas, Langata South Road, Hardy to stop at Twiga Hill Bus stop. From Karen the direction is via Dimesse Sisters off Langata Road through Karen Country Club, KarenBlixen Museum and Masai West Road to access the retreat house at the Ushirika Road Masai West Road Street junction at Twiga Hill Bus stop.

Our Golgotha Center for Evangelization is in Karungu, South Nyanza and is used for both:

It is a great environment for meditation and reflections. It is well furnished with sitting and resting places, modern and up to date facilities that accommodate all kinds of meetings. It is peaceful with nice breeze from the Lake side. The chapel is well lit and conducive for prayers, adorations, evening and morning devotions and especially mass.
